As you know, electro emerged as a fusion of funk and New York boogie. There is a lot of good electro music bands out there. Today, we want to share with you 5 amazing alternative bands that made terrific electro that will make you want to dance and also will accelerate your body.
Remix albums go a little something like this: An artist will first release a track, generally a single or a popular track off of an album. Then, the track will receive great feedback and gain popularity. After that, a label or the artist themselves will reach out to fellow artists with the stems, or pieces of a track to remix it. Sometimes the artists will be picked by holding a remix contest, other times the artists will be handpicked by the artist or label. After all that, the tracks are compiled and put into an order and the album is given album art. The result is usually a beautiful collaborative album with a strong recurring theme.HM09 – Abject by Twistyknobs achieves this result wonderfully, presenting one track in thirteen alternate remixes with each one as original in terms of perspective and sound as the last.
Ignite your senses with electro R&B melodies packed with a lot of soul in Jordan Corey‘s latest release titled All That.
Featuring 12 tracks, the collection encapsulates an unusual myriad of flavors — soul, R&B, electro — while still creating that perfect balance to deliver a fresh eargasmic experience. Los Angeles-based songstress Jordan Corey pulls this unique blend of sound from various contemporary and ’90s influences.
A Relatively new producer from Saint Augustine, Florida, GENNUI hits the scene with their first EP, Let You In. A short and sweet, four track EP; Let You In proves to be a great debut album for this producer.
As the title track, Let You In establishes the theme nicely as an opening track. It opens with rhythmic claps, and then the vocal sample comes in over rhythmic piano chords. GENNUI slowly builds it up then quickly drops it into a future funk groove with a very smooth, polished sound.
- Jedi Jordan
Jedi Jordan is a future music producer based out of Santa Rosa, California – a very skilled producer with very creative visions for his tracks, Jordan presents his Miracles EP. This EP, released through the Roseville Music Group, is a collection of some of his best tracks (at that point in his career, at least). Five banging tracks with masterful production techniques, subtle “sci-fi-esque” sounds, and the undeniable drive of a man on a mission; Miracles is a masterpiece.
Sam Duffy, or S. Lyre, is an electronic music producer based in the UK. For those who have been following his solo project and his collaboration project, Superb Lyres, Teacup Talks is a relaxing twist to Sam’s usual future style. With calming soundscapes composed of varying samples and warm synths, this EP aims to give the listener feelings that you’d want to put in an infuser ball and brew.

Sometimes it’s really difficult to discover new great artists on the Internet. That’s the reason why we created FrostClick, in order to review and share the music of alternative artists. Today we want to introduce five amazing artists that you must listen to today!
Melissa is a great singer. We just love her. She started signing professionally at the age of 5, began playing shows since high school – and after some considerable success moved to NYC to take on music as a full time profession. Since then she performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Saban Theater, Bitter End, and Village Underground.Feels Good is singer’s latest mixtape, carefully crafted with a help of few friends such as Eazi Money, Paulie, Quill Quasar, Vicky Victoria and Gabby Brielle. The songs are a mixture of fierce pop, hip-hop, and RnB, setting the mood right from the very beginning with sultry beats accompanied by Melissa’s gorgeous vocals luring you in.
Kellee Maize’s thoughtful & inspiring lyrics and the underling message of love are the most prominent. If you’ve listened to any of her previous releases, like ‘Owl Time‘, ‘Integration‘ or ‘Aligned Archetype‘, you know spiritualism takes a very important part of her work.‘The 5th Element’ is the slowest of all Kellee’s previous releases, with influences mainly from various types of electronic music. We even hear Kellee softer side singing as opposed to rapping in few of the tracks. Heavy southern style bass track ‘Dancing with Lightning’ opens the album just right.
Joe Marson has a beautiful voice. Armed with a guitar, beautiful melodies and a voice that’s heartfelt and mesmerizing, Joe Marson and the Satisfied Mind has created a gem of a record.
Listening to Jill Zimmerman’s music is like snuggling under a thick cozy blanket on a cold night. Her lyrics are introspective, honest and relatable; and paired with her warm guitar harmonies, they create an uplifting air of ease and tranquillity. The charming mix is often given touches of piano and harmonica, but the spotlight never wanders from Jill’s voice and her guitar.
Heavily influenced by acts such as Miriam Makeba and Tracy Chapman, Naomi Wachira fuses contemporary themes with African-inspired rhythms to carve out a catchy variety of folk that’s guaranteed to appeal to the genre’s avid listeners.
Pop music is not as simple as people think. Pop music can be complex, interesting, with incredible and deep melodies. So today, we want to share 5 alternative pop bands that you must listen to. You can listen to their music for free, and support them with donations if you like them.
Monk Turner has earned every right to be called the “galactic defender of the concept album”. With a prolific output of over 20 concept albums released in a decade, Monk has experimented with a plethora of styles and genres, collaborated with a staggering number of artists; and explored themes ranging from colours (Kaleidoscope) to a fictional portrait of L.A. in a pre-earthquake crisis (Emergency Songs). It’s hard not to be excited about his latest –God Complex.
Bursting with vibrant sonic oddness, Prisms EP by Warehouse Eyes treats us with eclectic harmonies, experimentation, and an elite musical taste.
Warehouse Eyes is a four-man band from Minneapolis consisting of Jennie Lawless (vocals, synthesizers), Christopher Williams (vocal, keys, and synthesizers), Kevin Scott (bass), and Alexander Young (drums).
Lily Wolf, the duo formed by Lily Wolfson and producer Alex Neuhausen, has achieved considerable success over the years with their work being featured on shows like The Bad Girls Club and Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Deleted Scenes is their third studio album and quite possibly their best.
Yesper is one of those rare Seattle jewels you can find for free on the internet. Every song on his album is kind of peculiar, engaging, magical. He recorded senses sensei EP in empty penthouses in a high rise apartment building under construction as his Bandcamp page suggests.
Singer/songwriter Candythief presents The Starting Gun, a six-piece collection of pop psychedelic pieces that’s bursting with sonic flavor in every play.
All in all, The Starting Gun gives a visual of what Candythief can offer to the table. The songs here feel finished, every line is cut perfectly to fit the melody, making it easy for listeners to digest the whole album.
