Now we won’t show the same YouTube search result for each download quality available on the main search results. We’ll just show you the video title, and when you click on it you will be able to pick which format and download size you want it depending on your needs and network conditions.

What is FrostWire Plus?
FrostWire Plus, a BitTorrent Client and YouTube Downloader. How to Install It?
FrostWire Plus is a free, fully featured BitTorrent Client and YouTube/SoundCloud downloader with a built-in Music Library designed specifically for Android devices.
FrostWire Basic (the one you can get on Google Play) and FrostWire Plus are based on the same code, but FrostWire Plus has the ability to download from YouTube and SoundCloud in addition to the BitTorrent Network.
You can get FrostWire Plus for free on our official site. To install, follow this easy steps:
1. Allow Apps from outside Google Play first: Tap on Settings -> Lock screen and Security -> allow ‘Unknown Sources’
2. Go to FrostWire.com with Firefox or any browser other than Chrome and download the installer.
3. Tap on the .apk file from the Android notifications or find it using any File Explorer (we like File Commander). The .apk will usually be in the Downloads folder.
[If you get an error ‘Can’t open file’, you need to download any APK Installer from Google Play first. Most devices come with one pre-installed though]
4. Install it and you are ready!

How to fix ‘Can’t Open File’ error on Chrome for Android
Do you want to install FrostWire Plus on your Android and you’re getting the error:
“Can’t Open File”?
We’ve made this video to show you how to fix the ‘Can’t Open File’ error on Google Chrome when downloading .apk files on Android.
This tutorial works not just for the FrostWire installer but for any app installer (.apk file) you may have had to download from a website, and it works for every Android phone or tablet.
There’s no reason why Google Chrome should be blocking the installation of .apk’s with their browser which happens to be the default of most phones out there, any app can handle opening .apk files, Google has simply decided to have more control of the android ecosystem and is trying to force everyone to use their Google Play market.
If things keep going this way, Google will be able to censor app developers completely if apps don’t follow their whimsical market rules, eventually they’ll turn Android into an iOS like environment where you can’t simply install apps without using the official store, the biggest bait and switch in the history of personal computing. Google, don’t be evil.

This new release has a lot of fixes (EZTV, BtJunkie search, torrents issues, crash on audio player), also we upgraded Picasso library for image caching and did a significant update to the jlibtorrent library that improves memory handling and avoids a DDoS attack on the network.
The update is currently being rolled out in stages to a small percentage of users on Google Play so that we can fix any newly introduced bug without impacting the majority of users.
