Subversion! Subversion! Subversion!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I’m so thrilled, we just found out the Sourceforge people finally answered our support ticket for the subversion import, (and we were right, we rock), it was due to our 953mb cvs repository being too big and we hit a bug.So Kiddies, get ready for some subversion happening soon, things will speed up a lot now in our development thanks to this.

Greetings,

You hit a bug that another project hit, due to the dump file
size. I’ve fixed that bug and pushed it out. I am manually
running the import now, and don’t anticipate any further
issues, so am closing this ticket out. I suspect this import
will be completed in an hour or so (if not much sooner).

Thank you,

How do you like the new Frostwire.com?

FrostWire.com got a plastic surgery done!

We hope this new and evolving version of the site will be appreciated by you. We’re trying to make it as simple, clean and easy to use as we can.

It’s still evolving, I know there’s some content missing, but for now we’re focusing on the most important thing, making the installers available on 1 click.

If you have any comments, they’re welcome, you can write here in this blog, or you can talk about it on the forums, there’s a lot more to come

We’ll be adding important sections to it, also we’ll be doing a facelift to the forums and this blog so that everything looks the same.

Stay tuned to this blog, as a tip, you might want to suscribe this RSS feed to your iTunes.

PS: Debian users, sorry for removing the Debian logo and placing the Ubuntu one, but given the stats, and the fact that we know that Debian users can read, we placed the Ubuntu logo there for the massive amount of Ubuntu users hitting the site., having received several comments we’ll figure out a way to not make other distro’s left out.

90% to subversion

We have sucessfully converted our CVS repository to Subversion on a local machine, however the conversion process fails on sourceforge.net servers, it seems that now they’ll need to take manual actions in order to import our cvs2svn dump in their subversion server. You can see the status of the sourceforge support request if you’re interested in using the subversion repository once it’s ready.
