We’ve decided to place donation pages upon random download requests, this because ever since 4.13.1 was launched, it has been a great success and the bandwidth/server costs associated are starting to reach costs that are out of our league when it comes to personal donations by members of the FrostWire team.
If you don’t want to donate, click again on the link of your desired installer until you get a direct download.
Linux installers are exempt of the donation page, however if you’d like to collaborate with money you can do so at http://www.frostwire.com/donate, if you want to collaborate with servers and bandwidth please contact us.
I would like to donate for this software but I need to check it out first. I have been using Morpheus Ultra (paid version) for a couple of years but every time I reformat my computer, I have to send them an email regarding activation issues. It\\\’s just to much trouble…
I just wanted to let you know that it is hard to donate for something you haven\\\’t tried yet.
I’ve got to say the post above is pointless.
With that out of the way, if your having monetary problems why not accept a few targeted advertisers? (Maybe one of those “Get Firefox with Google Toolbar”) I realize it’s difficult to accept ads and not appear spammy, but it can be done if you are just careful who you accept.
I’d be happy to donate – if you weren’t biased in only targetting Mac/Windows users.
Put up a request for donations for ALL operating systems.
It’s this kinda garbage that makes the Linux community look like a pack of (primary) school children!
put it on sourcforage
